Learning golf isn't (unfortunately) learned in one day. Although we'd all like to be Tiger Woods, the fact is that most of us have to work at having a good, consistent game.
Here today is JJ, to talk with us about some beginner's tips for your golfing game.
Learning Golf
Learning to play golf successfully is not something that you can really master while playing a video game. Take some time to study all the rules involved so you will know what you should do and what should be avoided. It is easier to overcome beginners' tendencies to make mistakes by having an instructor by the side. It is easier to rectify any mistakes when an instructor is around.
This is one common mistake: beginners who are learning golf tend to lookup when striking. This can cause a stroke to be counted even if you do not actually hit the ball. Remember to just look down after hitting. After the hit, make sure your hips are rotated. When swinging, extend your arms fully, this really helps create the perfect swing, especially for a beginner learning golf. There is one simple step you can use to avoid looking up too quickly after a hit, try counting to five.
Another common problem for people learning golf is that once on the green, too many putts are missed.

Also see that you are not hitting from the side of the club. The ball will swing to the side instead of the direction you want it to go. The only way to be able to throw the ball into the direction you want is to develop strong, solid swing.
Beginner's Learning Golf Scenario
One common scenario among beginner's learning golf is to see them hitting the ball and have it going off to the sides of the green! A little bit of patience will go a long way to remedy this situation. The first thing is to check your stance. You need to ensure that you are taking the time to carefully analyze your stance before each swing so you may need to back up a bit to ensure that you are not hitting the ball from the side of the club. This is one of the biggest things that will throw a ball to one side of the green or another. You end to build your strength and make solid swings to throw the ball into the direction yow want. It is irritating when hooking becomes a recurring condition for someone learning golf.
Regardless of your problem, taking a close look at your stance, as well as ensuring that you are not gripping the club too tightly should be quite helpful in correcting a hooked ball. Practice makes perfect, it may be an old adage but that doesn't make it any less true!
Thanks, JJ, for that information!
